OUR MISSION

The Innovation Campus is one of the trend-setting projects for the Regional Growth Core Schwedt/Oder and for the entire Uckermark region. With the Innovation Campus as a foundation, regional and international partners are able to radiate important impulses for sustainable economic and social development. The entire Berlin-Szczecin innovation region will benefit in the long term from the development of the campus, the industry-oriented research opportunities and the networking possibilities.

As part of the Innovation Campus meBEST, we plan to build a network of connections with partners from Germany as well as share our experience in founding, building, strategising and running tech startups.

Through the Innovation Campus, startups will benefit from the experience and contacts of companies based in Schwedt. The startups, in turn, will bring the necessary know-how and access to new technologies to be able to develop new business models.

Megatrends such as digital transformation and sustainability are topics that we can best manage in a community - in the Berlin-Szczecin metropolitan region as well as in the national/international network. The overarching collaboration in the Innovation Campus is therefore very important us as a digitisation partner for companies, in order to develop visions together, to set impulses and to realise successful joint projects in the region.

As part of the Innovation Campus meBEST, Industrial Analytics have been permanently represented with an office since October 2020. This strategic step shows our commitment and the relevance of Schwedt as a location for industry.

As a locally producing greentech company, the Innovation Campus meBEST offers us a great opportunity to exchange new ideas and projects. Our goal is to transform the location into an attractive and visionary research and education centre together with the Innovation Campus. We are looking forward to making a difference together in the region!

Inexpensive regional renewable energy is an important prerequisite for attracting businesses - with energy, work comes to the region. Our Uckermark energy supply, which is largely based on wind power, offers ideal conditions for sustainable companies. This is exactly what makes the Innovation Campus Schwedt so important: we need well-trained people here for the emergence of new businesses. From the production of green hydrogen to sustainable information technology, many things are possible.

As the university closest to the Uckermark in Brandenburg, we are happy to support the project for an Innovation Campus at the Schwedt site with our many years of expertise. The special feature of the Innovation Campus meBEST will be that entrepreneurs, scientists and students will come so close together that a successful transfer of knowledge and technology is virtually pre-programmed.

For the Fraunhofer IFF, the Innovation Campus meBEST is an ideal place to work with companies on sustainable topics that contribute to ecologically balanced and economically successful economic development. The immediate proximity to the National Park and the technical facilities create a unique working environment for researchers.

The Innovation Campus meBEST will succeed in creating an important, cross-border site order venue for education, networking and collaboration. Currently, the lack of educational opportunities and skilled workers pose challenges for companies in the Uckermark.

The Innovations Campus meBEST is a very good example of how innovation is carried into the future by clever minds. I am certain that the Schwedt/Oder location, with its proximity to Szczecin, the universities and, above all, with great, committed local companies, offers ideal conditions for the successful development of the campus. I was therefore pleased to present a funding confirmation to the city in 2020 for the support of the project through active location management.
